Job Description
Company Description:
Wafi Digital is the first advertising company in Pakistan providing Auto-stereoscopic Naked Eye Display, with a target to display 3D billboards around Pakistan. Our aim is to create stunning visuals that captivate and engage our audiences.
Role Description:
This is a full-time Visual Effects Artist role with some remote work flexibility. The Visual Effects Artist will use Autodesk Maya to create 3D models and animations, implement lighting and compositing, and develop game graphics. The artist should also have experience in managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a hybrid role, implying that the role is located in Lahore but some work from home is acceptable.
Qualifications:
- Autodesk Maya experience and proficiency in 3D modeling, rigging, and animation
- Expertise in lighting and compositing for 3D scenes and creating visual effects
- Experience in game development and graphics for real-time engines like Unity or Unreal
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to take direction and operate with minimal supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Computer Graphics, or related field
- Good communication skills in English and Urdu
- Experience with character rigging and simulation is a plus
