Job Description
CSR, Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing customer service and support to Insurance policyholders and potential customers. This includes answering questions about insurance products and services and resolving customer issues.
Job Description:
Answering and responding to customer inquiries from multiple contacting channels. Providing information about insurance products and services.
- Endorsement: Manage large influx of customer service emails daily. Make an endorsement (Any type of change in policy) like additional insured endorsement, waiver of subrogation, primary & non-contributory endorsement, add/remove vehicle or driver or location, update payroll, increase policy limits.
- Payment Dues: Send payment due email to insured. Due for the additional premium of endorsement, monthly installments, audit. Once received the payment, request our accounting team to make the payment to carrier.
- Audit: Get audit form from carrier by making a call or email. Send to insured to fill out. Follow up with the carrier for audit completion. Send invoice to insured once audit completed and invoice generated from carrier’s end.
- Calling to Carriers: Call carrier for policy status, billing, payments, audit, endorsements, coverage questions asked by the insured etc.
- Cancellation: Make an accord form, send to insured for signature. Send it to carrier and update in CRM.
- Reporting: Deliver monthly sales report to Executive Team.
Qualifications for a US insurance company CSR may include:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree.
- Must be a savvy user of technology, including Office 365, specifically, Microsoft Excel, Teams and Outlook.
- Minimum 1 year Experience in customer service preferred from Insurance Industry customer support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Working US Pacific time from 8 am till 5 pm
