Job Description
Job Purpose:
- The resource will play a vital role in supporting our employees’ technology needs, ensuring smooth operations and optimal system performance.
Job Description:
- Provide excellent technical support to internal users through various channels (phone, email, in-person).
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and network equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, networks, and applications.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and address potential problems.
- Implement security updates and patches to maintain a secure IT environment.
- Assist with onboarding new employees and setting up their technology access.
- Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, or a related field (or Diploma with strong experience may be considered).
- 1 to 2 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, network administration, or help desk roles.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Proficiency in Windows 10 & 11 and Microsoft Office 365.
