Job Description
As a Manager Structures at Zameen Developments, you will play a vital role in our skilled team, contributing to the Structural Design on a range of high-profile projects in the region. We are seeking someone with knowledge and technical experience in Structural design, documentation, and design management. Your excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills, along with a proven history of collaborative teamwork, will be essential for this role.
About the Job:
- Lead Building Structures design input on a broad range of projects
- Provide Building Structures input on total project delivery within the general structural engineering area
- Carry out analysis/configuration of the Structural components of a building
- Responsible for the preparation and delivery of detailed tender submissions, IFCs, and presentations
- Demonstrate strong design ability and engineering skills and knowledge
- Responsible for devising a Strategic Plan for Improving Business Efficiency
- Identify & Create sustainable synergies across various Business Functions
- Work in collaboration with Senior Management to recommend Strategies & Business Plans around Structural design, execution, and timely project delivery
- Develop/update process documentation, work instructions, and other tools to support execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally on various process evaluation and improvements
- Lead and coordinate quality, efficiency projects, and activities to ensure continuous best practices
Minimum Qualification:
- MS Structural Engineer (from HEC and PEC recognized national or International University)
- Professional Engineer Structures (Pakistan Engineering Council)
Experience:
7+ years of post-qualification Experience in structural design of multi-story buildings
Skills:
- Self-Motivated & Result Oriented
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills & Stakeholder Management
- Exceptional skills w.r.t Strategic Planning|Analytical Insights|Process Improvement|Problem Solving
- Proficient in Structural analysis and design tools such as Etabs, SAP200, SAFE 20, Staad Pro, Revit, etc, along with expertise in Microsoft Office Tools and other management tools
- Is well-versed with all applicable local and international codes such as BCP-21, ASCE7-16, ASCE7-22, ACI318-19, IBC-19, AISC Manual, etc.
