Job Description
A Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining computer systems and networks within an organization. They ensure the smooth functioning of hardware, software, and server infrastructure, and act as the first point of contact for any technical issues.
Their main duties include troubleshooting system errors, setting up user accounts and permissions, installing and upgrading software, managing backups and disaster recovery plans, as well as monitoring system performance and security.
To excel in this role, a Systems Administrator should have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of various operating systems. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the IT team and end-users.
