Job Description
VRG Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated Junior Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess 6 months to 1 year of experience in Oracle Database Administration, with skills in RMAN backup and recovery, Data Guard configuration, and a foundational understanding of Oracle RAC and performance tuning.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases (11g, 12c, and 19c).
- Develop and implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Enhance database performance through meticulous fine-tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve various database-related issues.
- Administer database security policies and procedures effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- This is a full-time position based in Karachi.
