Job Description
Ortak Consultants (Pvt.) Limited is seeking a qualified Medical Billing Officer to join our team in Karachi. This role is essential within the IT/Software Services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit and monitor medical insurance claims.
- Manage charge entries, payment postings, and patient billing.
- Address claim denials and rejections efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and payer guidelines.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and insurance providers.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in medical billing (offshore experience preferred).
- Proficiency in billing software such as Kareo or AdvancedMD.
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Availability to work night shifts.
