Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Islamabad for a Shopify Developer. The Shopify Developer will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce platforms for clients. This includes working with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, translating user needs into technical requirements, and integrating third-party applications. Additionally, the Shopify Developer will manage the entire Shopify development cycle, from conceptualization to launch, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with Shopify app development, customization, and integration
- Knowledge of web development principles, including responsive design and web standards
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with ecommerce best practices, user experience (UX) design, and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
