Key Responsibilities:
- Design user interfaces and user experiences (UI/UX) for mobile applications, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly.
- Develop promotional graphics to enhance the app’s visibility and appeal on various platforms.
- Design distinctive app icons that align with the brand and the app’s essence.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to bring design visions to life.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, ensuring the apps always resonate with current aesthetics and functionalities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in UI/UX design, specifically for mobile applications.
- A compelling portfolio that showcases design prowess in mobile app UI/UX, promotional graphics, and icon design.
- Familiarity with Material Design and clean design principles.
- Familiarity with popular design tools like Adobe Product Suite, Figma, Sketch, etc.
- Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
Additional Skills:
- Understanding of user research and usability testing methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Google Material Design and minimalistic design principles:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Material Design principles, including motion, surfacing, and components.
- Create clean and minimalist designs that are both visually appealing and user-friendly.
- Use whitespace effectively to create a hierarchy and focus attention on key elements.
- Employ a consistent grid system to ensure layouts are balanced and proportional.
- Choose a limited color palette that reflects the brand and conveys the app’s functionality.
- Use typography strategically to enhance readability and guide the user’s eye.
