Job Description
Company Description: Azaan Business Palace FZCO is one of the largest importers and distributors of foodstuff in East Africa. The company deals mainly in Rice, Sugar, Sunflower Oil, Wheat Flour, Lentil, Spices, Tomato Paste, Dry Instant Yeast, Powder Juices, Dates, and some other food & non-food products like Dry MF Batteries, Ceiling Fans, Tyres, Steel Bar, Sheets & others.
Role Description: This is a full-time on-site Senior Accountant role located in Lahore. The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the financial records of the company including but not limited to accountants receivables, accounts payable, inventory, payments, receipts, purchases, sales, BRS,, preparing accounts related adhoc reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Chartered Accountant.
Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in managing financial records and preparing financial reports
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software, such as Tally is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in UAE vat is a plus
Job Timings: 10 to 7 pm, Monday to Saturday
