Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at The Vantage – A British Curriculum School. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. In addition, the candidate must be experienced in reporting and filing tax requirements. The Accountant will also assist in budgeting and forecasting, managing payroll, and coordinating with external stakeholders such as auditors and tax authorities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles and financial management
- Experience in managing financial transactions and preparing financial reports
- Audit and compliance experience
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Tax reporting and filing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Must have at least 3 years of relevant experience from a recognized audit firm
- Must be a part qualified CA or ACCA
