Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at UBL Bank (Tanzania) Limited located in Sukkur. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and reconciling bank statements. The Accountant will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
- Experience in banking or financial services industry is a plus
