Job Description
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Officer located in Islamabad. The Accounting Officer will be responsible for financial statements, using analytical skills to assess financial data, managing finance and accounting software, and performing general accounting duties.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Reconciles bank statements with accounting records weekly.
- Processes and files Petty Cash daily.
- Advances approved Petty Cash and Travel Allowances to employees.
- Ensures Petty Cash and Allowances are closed according to company policies.
- Processes and makes payments upon approval.
- Files Payment Vouchers.
- Posting and processing entries against Advances and TAF expenses of employees.
- Timely update employees’ ledgers on ERP.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in finance and accounting software.
- Proficiency in accounting practices and procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Must have 2 to 3 Years of Experience.
