Job Description
Abacus Consulting is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our Finance and Accounting Department (FAD) as an Accounts Executive. In this executive-level role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial integrity of our organization by efficiently handling various financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the team to clear any outstanding items in the BRS
- Process final settlements for employees in compliance with company policies
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve queries related to final settlements
- Handle the processing of travel advance requests from employees
- Ensure prompt settlement of travel advances upon receipt of employee claims.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial information
- Record and process employee claims accurately and efficiently
- Continuously reconcile employee claims on an ongoing basis to maintain accurate records
- Prepare detailed financial reports and information as and when required by the line manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate setting
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial and taxation regulations and laws
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
