Job Description
Reports To: Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Petty Cash Management: Maintain petty cash, process payments, and prepare daily reports.
- Vendor Payments: Review invoices and prepare payment cheques for vendors.
- Salary Processing: Assist with preparing salary cheques and ensuring timely salary disbursements.
- Bank Reconciliation: Prepare and maintain monthly bank reconciliation statements.
- Tax Filing: Assist with preparing and submitting withholding tax and sales tax statements.
- Documentation: Maintain financial records, vouchers, and relevant documentation organizationally.
- Bank Coordination: Coordinate with the bank for pay orders, demand drafts, and other transactions.
- Inventory Assistance: Support periodic inventory checks at the warehouse.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Skills: Basic knowledge of finance and accounting principles, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
