Job Description
Position: Account Officer Payable
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer – Payables with expertise in managing both local and international payments. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our payment department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements monthly.
- Tracking vendor payments and aging using Google Sheets.
- Ensuring accurate recording of daily expenses.
- Managing payments for commissions and various expenses, both locally and internationally.
- Handling credit card transactions, including AMEX & Capital One
- Maintaining detailed records for audits and future reference.
- Monitoring vendor payments to ensure timeliness.
- Organizing and reviewing invoices before processing payments.
Requirements:
- Qualification: ACCA (finalist or affiliate) or a Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Previous experience in accounts payable, especially in an international setting.
- Proficiency in expenses, JVs, and bank reconciliation.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Expert Excel skills for effective data handling.
