Job Description
Overview
Provide rich analysis on Direct Costs, Inventories, Stores & Spares, and Reserves for slow moving/obsolete stocks to SC Controller for timely reporting. Support SC Controller to implement control agenda at the plant. Automation of processes to bring in efficiency and create value.
Responsibilities
- Support Process/Control Owners during risk assessments to mitigate emerging risks & improve controls effectiveness of I2C, Agro, and FR processes. Timely closure of gaps identified by modifying process and test scripts.
- Monitoring all inventories (Agro and non-Agro) for their aging and reporting of KPIs relevant to inventories on a monthly basis.
- Ensure accurate & timely execution of costing run at the month-end.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of HFM TB & schedules to the reporting team.
- Provide analytical support to SC Controller with variance analysis and other agreed-upon KPIs on a monthly basis.
- Ensure updating of the standard cost of materials & FG in SAP, as and when required.
- Balance sheet review, including Inventory, Reserves, and Agro schedules.
- Ensure timely & accurate reporting of scrap sales and reconciliation of customer ledgers.
- Posting of Scrap sales & Agro Non-PO based invoices in SAP.
- Plan, set, and manage Team performance objectives through performance appraisal sessions with the team during one 2 one sessions.
- Enhance cross-functional coordination with the plant team.
- Ensure timely submission of information to external auditors.
- Support SC Controller in holding reward and recognition activities.
- Support SC Controller in maintaining a healthy environment within the PLT Controls team.
- Enhance the team’s business understanding & confidence by providing opportunities to present their work at senior forums.
- Ensure team members are trained to identify and minimize routine & non-routine risks in their respective processes.
- Identify automation and efficiency opportunities in the relevant area.
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/MBA
- 7+ years of experience
- Experience in the management of people
- Strong knowledge of the GCS & Financial Reporting processes along with strong Excel, data management, and problem-solving skills.
