Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced application developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mobile development to join our team at CarSwitch Arabia.
Primary responsibilities:
- Build pixel-perfect, sleek UIs across both mobile platforms (Android & iOS).
- Proficient in architecting, building, and maintaining applications with clean code.
- Conduct strict unit testing of your code.
- Deploy apps on their respective stores.
- Think about the user experience you’re building and optimize it at every step.
- Be actively involved in peer reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Help implement development best practices.
Minimum qualifications:
- Firm grasp of JavaScript (Typescript is a plus) language including ES6+ syntax.
- Comprehensive understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
- Must possess a sound understanding of Redux, ContextAPI, Hooks, and React Navigation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
- Experience with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle (Android Studio).
- Clear understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.
- Understanding of a search tool like Algolia or ElasticSearch is a plus.
