Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Application Technologist to join our team at Jayson Foods. The role involves developing and testing new products and applications in alignment with project requirements. Collaboration with the R&D team is crucial to ensure products meet customer specifications and can be produced effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer needs and create customized applications in coordination with sales and R&D
- Explore opportunities for new product and application development through research
- Formulate and test new products to meet technical and customer demands
- Coordinate with various teams for successful product commercialization
- Offer technical assistance to customers during trials and post-launch
- Maintain detailed records of all development and testing activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum 1 year experience in food product development
- Strong technical knowledge of food science, formulation, and processing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with food processing equipment is a plus
