Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Asset Controller to join our dynamic team at CyberX Studio (CXS). The Asset Controller will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the company’s assets, ensuring accurate tracking, maintenance, and compliance with internal policies.

Responsibilities:

• Asset Tracking and Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all company assets, including hardware, software licenses, and equipment.
• Implement efficient tracking systems to monitor asset movement, location, and status.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of assets, from procurement to disposal, ensuring optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to assess the need for new assets and plan for timely replacements or upgrades.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding asset management.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to asset procedures, warranties, and licenses.
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors for asset procurement, maintenance, and support.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for asset-related services.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on asset utilization, depreciation, and overall performance.
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in asset management, preferably in a technology or software company.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools for asset tracking and management.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of asset management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using asset management software and tools.
• Certifications: Optional: Certification in asset management (e.g., Certified Asset Management Professional – CAMP).
