Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions, ledgers, and journals.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the finance team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with the preparation of tax filings and compliance documents.
- Perform data entry for financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the accounting software.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Help in preparing financial statements and reconciling bank accounts.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information to auditors.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure that financial records are up to date.
- Handle general administrative duties within the finance department, such as filing and maintaining documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other departments.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
