Company Description
Ghani Glass Limited, a part of Ghani Group, is a leading glass manufacturing company in Pakistan with interests in containers glass and float glass. The company has four modern glass plants in Pakistan producing container glass, float glass, and value-added glass with an annual capacity of over 300,00 tons.
Role Description
- Responsible for collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Developing and managing the performance of the supplier base.
- Establishing performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
- Usage of procurement tools including e-sourcing.
- Developing and maintaining detailed inventories of materials and suppliers located at factories.
- Maintaining the required quantity of supplies and materials as per the bill of material (BOM).
- Maintaining supply chain inventory and records.
- Finding cost-effective solutions for the supply chain process.
- Resolving issues related to the procure-to-pay cycle.
- Collaborating with other departments to create coordinated plans for cost-cutting.
- Ensuring supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
- Assisting the manager with regards to management reporting.
Qualifications
- Qualification: BS Engineering in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical with supply chain experience.
- MS/MBA supply chain.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in the same position or Minimum 5 years of overall experience.
- Skills: Expertise in MS Excel, Analytical, Report Writing, excellent verbal/written communication, and hands-on experience in Oracle or reputed ERP.
