Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager will assist the Manager with day-to-day operations, including managing staff, coordinating schedules, and overseeing production. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for ensuring safety and sustainability standards are met and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications
- Leadership and Management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to problem-solve and work well under pressure
- Experience working in the chemicals or related industry
- Knowledge of safety and sustainability practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
