Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager in General Accounting at Aga Khan University. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and the maintenance of financial records. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Manager in coordinating and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. You will also be involved in preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and implementing internal controls. To qualify for this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, as well as a minimum of three years of experience in accounting or finance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in financial software applications and an attention to detail.
