Job Overview: DeSOM seeks a skilled Assistant Manager IT to manage and secure our IT infrastructure. This role requires expertise in network security, firewalls, and server administration to ensure smooth backend operations and mobile app support. The candidate will also handle network troubleshooting and threat mitigation to maintain optimal performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network & Security Management:
- Configure and manage OPNsense firewalls and MikroTik routers for secure, high-performance networking.
- Implement VPNs and maintain DMZ setups for secure communication and network segmentation.
- Monitor and resolve LAN/WAN issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Proficiency with MikroTik routers, OPNsense firewalls, and DMZ setups.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (openSUSE, Ubuntu) and Windows Server 2022.
- Experience with Zabbix for system monitoring.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for network and server issues.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and external teams.
