Job Description

Job Purpose:

The position will be responsible for executing MRP and ensuring material scheduling to maintain operational and production continuity of plant. The role will also be responsible for working closely with internal and external customers to ensure supply of materials to satisfy production requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that material scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively in order to ensure material supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costs.
  • Ensure strategic and operational material flow information and reports are available to share with others in the business, as and when required.
  • Ensure creation of material requisition of packing materials of plant.
  • Take ownership of material planning issues that arise, including over or under delivery and take, any follow-up actions, especially in the event of material shortages that affect production.
  • Manage inventory risk and ensure that contingency plans are in place.
  • Ensure that MRP system is effective, and that master data is accurate and up to date.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Related Field(s)
  • 4+ years’ experience in supply planning
