Job Description

Position Overview: Reporting directly to the Manager Operations of Akhuwat, the Assistant Manager Operations is a critical support in setting up our teams for success. Primary focus includes assisting the operations and partnering with cross-functional teams within the Head Office and projects to develop relevant strategies, initiatives, resources, and communications to maintain a focus on operational excellence in achieving goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist manager operations to draft, devise policies, procedures, and systems and follow up for implementation.
  • Act as a bridge between Operations department and support departments to ensure smooth performance of duties at the head office level.
  • Manage conflicting demands, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities to deliver assigned welfare projects.
  • Demonstrate financial management knowledge, including familiarity with non-profit financial statements and reporting practices.
  • Ability to draft, review, and recommend improvements in third-party agreements.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing of assigned welfare projects.
  • Manage and/or support assigned activities, including events and special projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between field personnel and other members from various departments for reporting assigned tasks.
  • Coordinate with departments for the implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation framework across Akhuwat Education Services.

QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • BBA (Hons)/BSC (Hons) /MBA/M.Com/ ACCA/ CA (partly qualified) in a relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in operations or administrative role.
  • Proficient in using MS Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
