Job Description

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the procurement of goods, services, and materials essential for project execution.

This is a contractual position for a period of one year.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily procurement activities for the project.
• Manage the RFQ process, including preparing, issuing, and evaluating bids to negotiate with the best suppliers.
• Source, evaluate, and procure goods, services, and materials required for project execution.
• Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or timelines.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and project objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve procurement issues and facilitate smooth processes.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of materials and services in line with the project schedule and budget.
• Prepare and obtain approval for all necessary procurement documents related to the project.
• Ensure project requirements are met within budget and timeline constraints.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Engineering OR MBA.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in project procurement with a strong understanding of the full project procurement cycle.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to execute procurement activities in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner, while complying with organizational policies, legal standards, and quality requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills to manage multiple materials across projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in procurement tools, including SAP, and MS Office (Word, Excel).
