Job Description
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing the procurement of goods, services, and materials essential for project execution.
This is a contractual position for a period of one year.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily procurement activities for the project.
- Manage the RFQ process, including preparing, issuing, and evaluating bids to negotiate with the best suppliers.
- Source, evaluate, and procure goods, services, and materials required for project execution.
- Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or timelines.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and project objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve procurement issues and facilitate smooth processes.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of materials and services in line with the project schedule and budget.
- Prepare and obtain approval for all necessary procurement documents related to the project.
- Ensure project requirements are met within budget and timeline constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Engineering OR MBA.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in project procurement with a strong understanding of the full project procurement cycle.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to execute procurement activities in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner, while complying with organizational policies, legal standards, and quality requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to manage multiple materials across projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in procurement tools, including SAP, and MS Office (Word, Excel).
