Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Supply Chain team as an Assistant Manager Supply Chain. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations by supporting the efficient flow of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Forecasting: Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends and patterns. Develop accurate demand forecasts to inform inventory planning and production schedules.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain processes and reduce costs. Implement process improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels by analyzing sales data, lead times, and demand forecasts.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Support the Supply Chain Manager in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
- Operational Efficiency: Contribute to the overall efficiency of supply chain operations by providing support in areas such as purchasing, warehousing, and order fulfillment.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance within the supply chain systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in the apparel/clothing industry, preferably in a supply chain role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools.
