Ghani Glass Limited is based in Lahore and is part of the reputed Ghani Group with over 50 years of experience in local and international markets, especially in the glass sector.
Role Description
- Responsible for collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Developing and managing the performance of the supplier base.
- Establishing performance metrics for measurement comparison or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
- Usage of procurement tools including e-sourcing.
- Developing and maintaining detailed inventories of materials and suppliers located at factories.
- Maintaining the required quantity of supplies and materials as per the bill of material (BOM).
- Maintaining supply chain inventory and records.
- Finding cost-effective solutions for the supply chain process.
- Resolving issues related to the procure-to-pay cycle.
- Collaborating with other departments to create coordinated plans for cost-cutting.
- Ensuring supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
- Assisting his manager with regards to management reporting.
Qualifications
- Qualification: BS Engineering Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical with supply chain experience.
- MS/MBA supply chain.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in the same or position or minimum 5 years of overall experience.
- Skills: Expertise in MS Excel, analytical skills, report writing, excellent verbal/written communication, and hands-on experience with Oracle or reputed ERP.
