Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Enterprise Operations, located in Islamabad. The Assistant Manager Enterprise Operations will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Techaccess Pakistan’s enterprise infrastructure and ensuring that all systems are functioning at optimal levels.
- Perform backup software installations, system software maintenance.
- System data backup and recovery as required and in accordance with standards, policies.
- Disaster Recovery.
- Deploying of customized VMware solutions. Troubleshooting and resolving VMware environment issues.
- Providing technical support and documenting VMware processes.
Experience & Qualification
- +8 years of experience in related technologies (Linux / Backup administration)
- A bachelor’s degree in or higher in computer science or a related field.
- Operating systems knowledge, including Linux and Windows server, is required. Hardware installation of Oracle, Huawei, Dell, and HP servers and tape library.
- Veritas NetBackup experience (Appliances & software), Backup Exec.
- IBM Spectrum Protect.
