Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager Reliability to join our Dandot Cement plant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal utilization and operation of the plant’s equipment by monitoring conditions, analyzing trends, and identifying maintenance needs.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and monitor equipment conditions, analyze trends, and identify the needs for mechanical maintenance, considering production constraints.
- Prevent equipment failure by utilizing all available information and data.
- Identify short, medium, and long-term action plans and maintenance strategies for plant equipment.
- Contribute to achieving the best performance levels of plant equipment.
- Conduct first-level and specific inspections of all plant equipment under various conditions (stoppage, running).
- Prepare formalized inspection reports detailing equipment conditions and maintenance needs.
- Coordinate closely with the production team to receive feedback on equipment conditions, availability for maintenance inspection, and production constraints.
- Work closely with maintenance execution teams to get feedback from maintenance tradesmen on equipment status and coordinate with planning/scheduling teams.
- Ensure compliance with certification requirements and conduct necessary inspections during operations and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE) or Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the cement industry, preferably in the reliability department.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance and operation of cement plant equipment.
- Excellent analytical skills to measure and monitor equipment conditions and analyze trends.
- Proficient in preparing detailed inspection reports.
