Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Service Manager at KIA Motors Defence. The Assistant Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing service operations, managing customer relations, and supervising technicians. The Assistant Service Manager will also assist the Service Manager in maintaining department profitability, implementing policies, and training employees.
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive service or a related field
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair processes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software
- Experience with dealer management systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
01. Oversee day-to-day operations of the automotive workshop, ensuring efficiency, and quality results in customer satisfaction
02. Understanding of service aftersales operations and spare parts.
03. Train the team by conducting in-house training sessions for technicians
04. Provide technical guidance to the team
05. Assist in warranty
06. Conduct workshop audits and implements standards as per policy.
07. Handle customer complaints and ensuring a positive service experience.
