It is one of the leading computing schools in Lahore, Pakistan, offering BS, MS, and PhD programs in different computing domains.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate/Assistant Professor in Computing. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in computing, conducting research, supervising students’ projects, and publishing research findings in reputable journals. The candidate will also be responsible for contributing to curriculum development.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in Computing with specialization/research in the following fields (Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Distributed & Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Networks, and Blockchain)
- 5 years post-PhD work experience required for the position of Associate Professor
- Professional certifications from AWS, Azure, Google, Microsoft, CISCO, Huawei, PMI, (ISC)2, and ISACA are desirable
- Strong knowledge and teaching experience in computing and related fields
- Ability to effectively teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research, publish in reputable journals, and secure research funding
- Experience supervising and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a university setting is an advantage
