Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Editor. The Associate Editor will be responsible for editing, proofreading, and fact-checking articles, as well as collaborating with writers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of content. The Associate Editor will also be responsible for brainstorming and pitching story ideas, managing a team of writers, and optimizing content for SEO.
Qualifications
- Excellent editing, proofreading, and fact-checking skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of writers and editors
- Experience in pitching and developing story ideas
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Prior experience in the marketing and advertising industry is a plus
