Job Description
We are a growing company looking for an individual with CAD experience to fill a technical role. Experience with AutoCad required, as the work involved will require communication and cooperation with senior designers/engineers to output technical drawings for approval/manufacture. Experience with Microsoft Office would be beneficial, as well as good verbal communication to work well in a team.
Duties & Responsibilites:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, SolidWorks, DrawPlus X8 and MicroStation
- Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and specifications
- Review and modify existing drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards
- Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, assembly drawings, and bill of materials
- Conduct quality checks on completed drawings to identify errors or inconsistencies
- Assist in the development and implementation of CAD standards and procedures
Experience:
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician or similar role
- Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, SolidWorks, DrawPlus X8 and MicroStation
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Familiarity with construction processes and terminology
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
