Job Description

The Fleet Solutions Key Account Manager role requires focus on customer portfolio/relationship management while hunting for new business in the assigned region. This is a role for someone with a passion for customers, growing business and helping customers in navigating through the energy transition.

You will:

  • Ensure full adherence to Ethics & compliance and HSSE Shell standards
  • Develop and execute sales plans and key account plans to deliver year on year financial growth
  • Lead your customers through the energy transition and their de-carbonization agenda
  • Develop and maintain long term commercial relationships with key accounts, and external stakeholders
  • Be a Role model in Sales 1st behaviors/methodology
  • Interface with Customer Operations, Marketing, Mobility, New Energies and e2e partner functions (e.g. Credit), to ensure highest standard of service for your customers

What are the key skills needed?

  • Entrepreneurial “self-starter” mindset
  • Passion for sales, customers and closing deals
  • Experience in prospecting/cold-call sales, value selling, negotiation of high value contracts
  • Ability to grow sales and profitability
  • Customer obsession to understand and anticipate your customer needs and find solutions
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and finance knowledge
  • Do not take a ‘no’ for an answer when dealing with prospects
  • Knowledge in mobility, or payment or e-mobility would be an advantage but not essential
