Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring the successful execution of Urtasker’s vision, and fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLES:

  • Lead and manage a team.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes and workflows.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive business goals.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, higher management, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on team and project progress.
  • Address and resolve conflicts in a timely and constructive manner.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s in any discipline.
  • E-Commerce related experience and certification will be an added advantage.
  • Overall 5 years of working experience including proven experience of minimum 2 years in a managerial role, with a track record of successful team leadership.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and solve problems.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Self-directed with a passion for learning, automating, and sharing knowledge.
  • Ability to work with all teams across multiple time zones.
  • Good Excel / Database capabilities and strong proficiency with PowerPoint.
