Job Description
The Business Analyst is responsible for assessing operational and financial data and guiding management in making decisions.
Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:
- Utilize NetSuite to analyze financial and operational data, identify trends, and generate insightful reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct in-depth financial and operational analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Create reports that provide reliable and well-analyzed data, enabling the creation of actionable and evidence-based decisions.
- Develop and maintain pricing models, providing accurate and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations to optimize business performance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in using NetSuite for financial analysis, reporting, and data management.
- Proficient in working with mid-large sized datasets in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulae, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it effectively to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience with importing & exporting data from multiple systems (ERP, WMS & Ecomm).
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Experience with other financial software systems and ERP implementation is a plus.
