Job Description
Overview: As a Business Development Representative for our IT company, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and cultivating new opportunities. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and promoting our IT solutions and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Lead Generation: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive offerings. Generate qualified leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking.
- Client Engagement: Initiate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in target companies. Conduct engaging conversations to understand client needs and position our IT solutions effectively.
- Product/Service Presentation: Clearly articulate the value proposition of our IT solutions and services to potential clients. Customize presentations based on client requirements and showcase how our offerings meet their specific needs.
- Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations with clients to finalize contracts, pricing, and terms.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their evolving needs and proposing suitable solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years in business development and sales within the IT industry or software house.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions and services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
