Pakistan International Disputes Weekend (PIDW) is Asia’s premier legal convention for ‘reviewing, reflecting and reviving’ the global dispute resolution terrain. The event brings together legal professionals, experts, and scholars from around the world to exchange knowledge and insights in the field of dispute resolution.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Event Manager at PIDW in Lahore. The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of the event, including venue selection, vendor coordination, speaker arrangements, budget management, logistics, and participant registration. They will also oversee marketing and promotion efforts to ensure maximum attendance and exposure for the event.
Qualifications
- Experience in event management and planning
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
- Knowledge of the legal industry and dispute resolution is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field
