Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize online platforms such as Upwork, Guru, and similar portals to identify and pursue business opportunities.
- Create compelling profiles, manage bids, and establish a strong online presence to attract potential clients.
- Generate leads through proactive outreach to potential clients and responding to inbound inquiries.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and services.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct competitor analysis and contribute to the development of effective sales strategies.
- Actively participate in industry events, webinars, and forums to expand professional networks.
- Represent the company at onsite opportunities and events as needed.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5-10 years) in business development, with a focus on online portals and platforms.
- Strong understanding of the freelance and consulting landscape.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
