Role Overview:
As a Business Development Officer at Ibtidah Solutions, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by actively bidding on platforms such as Upwork.com and securing new projects for the company. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, understanding their requirements, and effectively communicating our value proposition to win projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bid Management: Craft compelling bids and proposals tailored to client requirements on Upwork.com, showcasing Ibtidah Solutions’ capabilities and expertise.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients through effective communication channels to understand their needs, address queries, and provide suitable solutions.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and client preferences to identify new business opportunities and enhance our competitive edge.
- Deal Closure: Negotiate terms and conditions, finalize contracts, and ensure smooth transition to project execution upon deal closure.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze bidding performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance success rates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Officer or similar role, preferably in the IT/software industry.
- Strong understanding of bidding platforms like Upwork.com and proficiency in bid management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving targets and driving business growth.
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in relevant industry.
