Job Description
Qualification: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in library information management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in cataloguing, data management, or a related field.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in cataloguing software, databases, and inventory management systems (SAP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cataloguing standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Classify and catalogue materials.
- Assign unique identification codes and descriptions.
- Maintain and update the catalogue database.
- Work closely with procurement, inventory, and logistics teams.
- Conduct regular audits of the catalogue system.
- Provide support to internal departments.
- Implement and maintain cataloguing standards.
- Assist in the development of cataloguing processes.
- Generate reports and provide analysis on catalogue data.
