Job Description
- Receive flour from Food Store as per requirement and examine the quality; reject if found substandard.
- Prepare Dough Mix and make loaves from it as per the production requirement.
- Replenish adequate supplies during peak meal hours.
- Handle/report to the duty supervisor regarding substandard ingredients or any subsequent leftover.
- Clean (while at work or “clean as you go”) dough mixer and other chapatti room equipment/utensils and ensure a clean and tidy kitchen is handed over to the next shift staff.
- Produce daily and next day requirement of the cycle menu or any special events requirements as directed by the supervisor.
- Prepare chapattis, nan paratha, puri as needed.
- Ensure the safety and hygienic condition of the chapatti room and immediately report of damaged/waste and theft to the duty supervisor.
- Report food safety and other complaints/problems to immediate duty supervisor or cook team leader.
