The company is bifurcated into two business units, Float Glass Division and Glass Containers Division, with a focus on quality glass products manufactured and marketed therein.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chemical Engineer at Ghani Glass Limited located in Sheikhupura. The Chemical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the design, development, and execution of chemical processes for glass production.
- The day-to-day tasks include optimizing production processes, troubleshooting issues, supervising laboratory work, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- The Chemical Engineer is also responsible for ensuring safety, quality control, and compliance with regulations.
- Managing project budgets
- Overseeing manufacturing processes
- Led the research procedures, and handling the testing phase
- Responsibilities may also encompass training your subordinate employees and supervising them.
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills and Process Engineering skills
- Laboratory Skills and Chemical Industry knowledge
- Excellent Communication skills
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations related to chemical manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in glass manufacturing is a plus Point
- Experience in process optimization and troubleshooting
- Minimum 10 to 12 years of related experience.
