Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Compliance Officer- Banking at Fulcrum Pvt. Limited. The Chief Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of compliance within the organization, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust compliance program aligned with regulations and best practices.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and adjust policies accordingly.
• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, managing inspections and examinations professionally.
• Coordinate with SBP inspection teams and ensure timely submission of required information.
• Provide compliance guidance for new digital banking products and services.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor compliance controls, address gaps, and enhance procedures.
• Deliver compliance training to employees and foster a compliance-focused culture.
• Investigate compliance breaches, implement corrective actions, and oversee remediation.
• Submit regular compliance reports to senior management and the board.
• Follow up on internal audit findings with branch teams.
• Support service quality teams in addressing customer complaints.
• Enhance staff knowledge on digital banking regulations.
• Collaborate with legal counsel on issues involving external agencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, finance, or a related field. A relevant master’s degree is preferred.
• Masters / MBA (Banking / Finance)
• Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance skills
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing digital banking operations.
• At Least 15+ years in compliance within the financial services industry, with specific experience in digital banking.
