Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chief of Party for an upcoming project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Pakistan. As the Chief of Party, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall management of the project.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of project strategies, work plans, and activities in line with USAID guidelines and objectives.
- Coordinate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, local organizations, and the private sector, to enhance project outcomes.
- Oversee the project’s financial management, including budget planning, expenditure monitoring, and reporting.
- Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of project activities, and use findings to inform decision-making and improve project performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project staff and partners to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing and implementing complex projects, preferably in the international development sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in USAID project management, including knowledge of USAID rules and regulations.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in international development, public administration, or a related field.
