Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Claims Consultant at Fulcrum Pvt. Limited. As a Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for daily tasks associated with claims handling and management in the insurance industry. This role is located in Karachi Division, Pakistan.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of experience in Reinsurance Underwriting and Reinsurance facultative and treaty Claims handling in business lines Engineering, Fire, etc. with a reputable Reinsurance or Insurance Company.
• Certificate in insurance will be a plus

Scope of Work

• The consultant will be required to provide assistance to the Head of Claims Department including but not limited to:
• Analyze and evaluate reinsurance claims to determine coverage and liability.
• Assist to negotiate and settling complex and high-value claims with insurers.
• Provide technical advice and guidance on claims handling.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and claim resolution.
• Assist in the development and implementation of claims management strategies.
• Claims reconciliations with the cedants.
• Any other assignment or task as assigned by or with approval of CEO.
• The selected consultant will be reporting to the Head of Claims.
• The work may require traveling within or outside Pakistan; however, the same shall be strictly subject to prior approval by the CEO.
