Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid Computer Vision Research Internship located in Islamabad, with flexibility for remote work. The Computer Vision Research Intern will collaborate with Research Engineers to explore and develop cutting-edge algorithms for computer vision and machine learning. The Computer Vision Research Intern will also be involved in drafting research papers, evaluating state-of-the-art techniques, and exploring new research directions.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience or coursework in computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning
- Excellent programming skills in Python/C++ and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and Tensorflow
- Experience with OpenCV, CUDA, and knowledge of optimization techniques that leverage GPUs
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a good understanding of linear algebra, probability, and statistics
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as in a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong desire to learn
- Experience in presenting at national or international conferences or journal publications is a plus
- Research or development experience in medical imaging is a plus
